1st Day of School, 2009

All ready to go in her cute shirt and favorite jeans-This is Mallory's first year on the early bus since she is in middle school now.

Nick, ready to start his freshman year (but still in Jr. High).

Carter, ready to go with his great hair and new clothes

Everybody had a great first day! Nick didn't hate all of his classes this year. He enjoyed Seminary (first year) and liked his geometry teacher which is very refreshing. The other classes were ok and he transferred into Advanced P.E. for his advisory elective class, which you can see is a good thing because in his words, "I didn't even sign up for the stupid computers!" (The computer class was originally on his schedule.)

Mallory loved middle school! Kind of scary to be starting that kind of schedule when you are only 11 but she's eating it up. What a relief!

Carter loves his new teacher and is motivated to be a great kid! No pulling cards!

FUN FUN FUN but to be honest with you, pretty sad.

Cute baby stuff

It's fun to watch Jamie in his little "safe zone" area. Here are a few things he likes to do:

Listening to Mallory's Ipod

Reading his large ducky book

Just drinking his bottle with his cute curls

Pretty fascinated with Carter's hovercraft

Cool colors

I couldn't resist taking pictures of Jamie in this shirt-it was begging to be photographed with a grass background in the afternoon sunlight. What a handsome kid.

Carter in Football

I would have never guessed Carter to be a football player! He's too skinny! I was laughing pretty hard when I saw his little body under the pads, so I had to take photos! It turns out that he is pretty dang good--he is a wide receiver, running back and sometimes the quarterback-pretty much when they want some speed! He is also very aggressive when it comes to tackling. At the football camp with the High School team, he was so aggressive that it was making all of the seniors laugh pretty hard-he just knows how to unleash his power and channel it. Good job bud!

He's so skinny you can see his ribs

Alright, now he looks respectable

Park City, 2009

Another great week in Park City. We did a lot of swimming, biking, running, hiking, lifting weights (Nick-for football) Mountain Coastering, Alpine sliding and eating yummy stuff. Every year we get a huge box of creamies and we don't have a hard time finishing them. Plus, the Cafe Rio and Panda Express. Michael also took me on a special date to Baja Cantina, another tradition. My parents also visited and we went on a hike with them. Nick helped carry him when Michael needed a break. Here are some fun photos of the hike:

Of course we had to have the whiffle ball game and I had to get the annual pictures in the tree photos:

The kids were so much help with Jamie-Mallory snuggled him to sleep!
